Match ReportThanks to everyone who joined us for the match today. You folks make all of the work worthwhile. Several of the 62 shooters were new shooters and we hope all of you had a great time at your first PSC-IDPA match. We also had a good number of ladies join us this month, many of whom are from the PSC Ladies Program. Thanks Donna for your efforts to get more ladies shooting with us. This month's match also saw a group from the TexasCHLforum.com shoot as an informal squad. (No, we haven't abandoned "open squadding," these folks just wanted to shoot together.) That was fun and I hope we can do that more often. We may have to make some TexasCHLforum name badges so the people who haven't met can recognize each other at matches, gun shows, etc. I'm sorry I didn't have more time to visit with all of you folks. I also want to thank Marc and Eric for setting up the match on Friday evening. I was stuck at the office much later than I planned and when I made it to the range, they had 90% of the work finished. Thanks guys! Thanks also to everyone who helped us break down the bays and put up the props. Our "new" trailer and tractor sure make this job easier. More improvements along these lines are in the works. Our SO's did a great job as usual so the next time you see them, let them know we appreciate their work. This month's SO's were Dave Rosetty, Dave Eickhoff, Tim Fisher, David Gleason and Danny Stowers. Remember the Classifier next month and send me an email if you want to reserve one of the eight (8) available slots. Thanks again for a great match and we hope to see you next month. |
