Match ReportOnce again we had a good number of new shooters and we hope you had a great time. We missed a lot of our regular shooters who are shooting in the Fiesta Regional tomorrow in San Antonio. We wish you guys and gals the best of luck! Tim Fisher graciously agreed to assume the duties of Range Master for the PSC-IDPA monthly matches, starting with this month's match. Tim created the scenarios for the 2006 Texas State IDPA Championship and his "preliminary" schematics looked like something from NASA. I guess that makes sense, because he is a NASA engineer! Well, Tim brings that same mindset to designing the monthly scenarios. You know the man is thinking when you see vector lines on the scenario diagrams! Tim has requested that I invite you folks to give him some feedback on this month's match. If you would like to comment or ask a question about the match, you can go to the Competitive Shooting Section of the TexasCHLforum.com where you will find a thread about the April PSC-IDPA match. It's also posted in the PSC-IDPA Section of the forum on TexasIDPA.com, but there will probably be more traffic/input on TexasCHLforum.com. I want to thank Eric Achord, Jason Hall, and Jason's friend for their help setting up the match Friday evening. Tim was on his way, but we were just too efficient and finished before he arrived. We also want to thank everyone who stayed after the match to help us break down the bays and put up the props. Hopefully, the replacement power lines to the pistol bays will be "hot" next month so there will be even more equipment to put up! You new folks are going in for a treat with the computer-controlled pneumatic target systems designed and built by Dan Alford and Randy Allen. Sprinkle in a few Allen Actuator targets and you'll long for those static targets! Thanks for a safe match and we hope to see you next month.
