Match Report RAINED OUT!! Actually, we tried to get a match in, but the weather wouldn't cooperate. The Weather Channel indicated a band of strong thunderstorms taking aim on Friendswood, so we took a vote of the twenty or so folks who braved the ominous sky to come to the range. The vote was to shoot - of course, how else would IDPA members vote? Though the product of a democratic vote, it turned out to be the wrong decision! It didn't just rain, it was a Noah Class rain!! Most people stayed around to help us tear down the scenarios, but after 20 or 30 minutes, we just sent everyone home. We were finally able to break down the scenarios about two hours later. Thanks to everyone who tried to stay. Remember, next month is the Texas State IDPA Championship!! |
