Welcome back folks, we hope the holidays were great for you and the family.

I want to offer my apologies to two of our new shooters. We were running way behind getting the match set up and I simply forgot to have a "new shooters" school. While the new guys were not new to shooting, they hadn't shot IDPA before and were not aware of some of the IDPA-specific safety rules. The result was two DQ's and I hold myself responsible. We should have had a "new shooters" school to inform these folks of IDPA safety rules we follow, in addition to the four rules of gun safety, and they likely were DQ'd because this wasn't done. Please accept my apology and please come back next month. You will not be charged a match fee.

We had 47 shooters for the match and 3 for the Classifier. This is the lowest number we've ever had for the Classifier, so I'm wondering if we are getting saturated with Classifiers. We have no plans to change from running Classifiers quarterly, so don't let my musing start any rumors!

Thanks to Glenn, Gil, Ken and Danny for serving as our SO's this month, and to all you folks who helped us clean up the bays after the match.

Next month, we'll be back to 4 bays and 8 scenarios for the match and the next Classifier will be on April 5, 2003. Thanks for coming and we hope to see you next month.

Mike R. - Your score sheet for Bay D had no times, so the times were entered as "999." I hope this is because you didn't shoot Bay D, not because there was an error "in the field."
